💭My thoughts:
This book really pushed me outside of my comfort zone. As someone who typically reads romance and fantasy, picking up this dystopian sci-fi novel gave me a little bit of culture shock.
That said, I thought that the author did a great job of keeping us entertained while simultaneously creating a psychologically disorienting narrative.
There is no easy way to say this… the book was sad. Showing us the harsh realities of a dystopian society that is eerily similar to our own.
